STEPS OF PRE-DEVELOPMENT

STEP 1

After positive potential analysis and the definition of the level of ambition, a clear project description will be made. This includes a basic proof of concept by IB STEINER and the following main topics:

STEP 3

As a part of the detailed feasibility analysis, the optimization of reasonable solution variants and the creation of 3D concepts are carried out. Solutions are virtually visualized, assessed and optimized to minimize investment requirements and to ensure profitability.

Main Development

The selected, best solution is going to be picked and reconstituted in detail. The defined requirements and possible extreme situations are verified in the case of virtual component tests on the 3D model and the manufacturing process is simulated. At the same time, patents are filled and possible suppliers are selected. In the course of the main development, trial moulds are designed and built, as well as prototypes and trial patterns are prepared for the customer. Initial tests on these components are evaluated and assessed at the very least as preparation for the serial conversion. Employees in the field of design and process engineering work together constructively with a great part of experience in the research laboratory and in the production of HYBRID COMPOSITE Products GmbH to achieve substantial results.

    STEP 7

    Once the product range has been defined, you can successfully present your innovation at trade fairs and at customers' premises. IB STEINER carries out a systematic documentation of all the partial results, which are used to pursue the individual project sections and allow their use for serial production. The product launch is completing the product developement process.
