The surfaces of plastics moldings do not only determine their optical appearance, but also how mechanical, functional, chemical, logistic and economical requirements will be fulfilled.

For the conception of surfaces which are geared to requirements, IB STEINER takes the influences of the following areas into consideration:

Moreover the competence in surface of IB STEINER will be continuously extended by the active participation at national and international research programmes and is used for customers' projects. Invitations to lectures at international seminars emphasize our competence. The employment of experts with decades of experience in the area of structured surfaces of plastics moldings makes the competence effective. The continuous increase of competence is a result of the cooperation with relevant research centers, e.g. the POLYMER COMPETENCE CENTER LEOBEN.
